Orthopaedics – Care and Surgery
Adair County Orthopaedics at AHCS offers comprehensive orthopaedic care. Our team can evaluate any orthpaedic condition to help reduce your pain and restore your quality of life. We have the capability of providing comprehensive orthopaedic care all in one place. From the first appointment to the final therapy session, and everything in between, we can do it all here at our facility.
Staff
Our orthopaedic surgery team includes Dr. Teri S. Formanek, an exceptional orthopaedic surgeon, as well as compassionate, mastery-certified NISE (Nurses in Surgery Essentials) registered nurses and a dedicated anesthesia provider (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist).
Dr. Formanek is a board-certified, Harvard fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon, who offers a full range of orthopaedic care, and specializes in upper extremity procedures.
Goal
To provide the highest quality patient care before, during and after each procedure to ensure a quick and seamless recovery. We are devoted to offering a safe, personalized and convenient outpatient orthopaedic surgery experience.
Interventions/Services
Dr. Formanek performs a variety of orthopaedic procedures, including but not limited to:
- Hand, wrist and elbow conditions
- Knee arthritis and injuries
- Shoulder tendon and ligament tears
- Nerve compressions
- Fracture care and athletic injuries
Appointments
Patients may schedule orthopaedic appointments with Dr. Formanek in Adair County Medical Clinic – Greenfield. An appointment is required. However, no referral is necessary for a consultation appointment.
Surgical procedures will be scheduled as appropriate following surgical consultation and provider referral. The Surgery Department will contact patients to schedule procedures after receiving all necessary authorization.
